You may have been wondering how to “get more leads for my business”. If so, this may be just what you’ve been looking for. I’m here to share with you how to get more leads for small businesses.
This method beats the average “word of mouth” referrals that you may have received over the years you’ve been in business. As all business owners can attest to, word or mouth referrals are THE BEST kind of referral ANY business can get.
On August 8, 2017, I was introduced to a great method on how to get more referrals for your business, simply by attending a locally held meeting of a international business network … better known as BNI. The local branch whose meeting I attended here in Oshawa, are better known as ABN, which is short for All Business Networkers.
During this meeting, I learned of how one local entrepreneurial member is in the middle of expanding his local business to now include employees … all because he made the decision to join ABN as a regular member. The referrals coming his way made this expansion of his business possible.
This network is not to be taken lightly either. It is NOT just a social club where members sit around gossiping, but a serious means of helping each other find business referrals, as well as learn new marketing strategies.
Each group only allows ONE member of any professional classification to join a chapter. In other words, you will NOT find, say, two property appraisal businesses … or two accountant agencies … or even two cabinet makers within the same local chapter. In this way, your business receives all referrals for your type of business.
During weekly marketing sessions you will have the opportunity to create long lasting partnerships with the other members. What a great way to get quality referrals. The BNI code of ethics and procedures truly works to increase the quality of the referrals you may receive.
Yearly membership fees are very reasonable. A small business could EASILY pay for those tax-deductible fees with the new business you gain from the referrals you’ll receive from your group … providing you decide to join.
There is soooo much more than just quality referrals that your business can gain too. Quality referrals are simply the “icing on the cake” … and we all like icing on our cake, right?
Advantages of Joining a Chapter
- Each member represents their primary occupation.
- Lots of new contacts.
- Receive quality referrals for your business.
- Advanced workshops and eLearning available.
- Special networking opportunities.
- Exposure to international ideas.
- The more you give the more you gain.
…and, more.
